Case
Studies:
ESI International, Inc. was called on to reduce costs
related to a workers compensation program that
was thought to be plagued by fraudulent and/or abusive
claims. Working with the companys claims administrator,
ESI International began an economical investigation
of each claim involving time lost from work; looking
not only for fraud or abuse, but examining where the
employee might not have been getting the best possible
service to insure a speedy recovery and return to work.
This approach has significantly reduced the number of
claims, and the severity of claims.
ESI International, Inc. was retained after a stock brokerage
experienced a conflict with a customer who began behaving
strangely. Within hours of the incident, ESI International
arranged for discreet protection for the employees and
clients of the brokerage house, while developing a complete
profile of the disgruntled former client. Working with
management, and utilizing the information developed during
the background/profile investigation, the former client
was effectively discouraged from returning to the brokerage
firm, and the situation was defused without incident.
